Bennington Area Reds Baseball Team...

Founded in 2005 as the Bennington “B” team and later Bennington Reds Baseball, we have evolved into today's Bennington Area Reds Baseball Club. In this our 3rd season, the Bennington Area Reds Baseball Club is a select program dedicated to the development and promotion of the areas student athletes through the game of baseball. The Reds seeks to provide a means for worthy players to be seen, evaluated and ultimately recruited by a college or university to play baseball and earn their degree. While we can never guarantee anyone a scholarship, with our assistance we believe our student athletes have a great chance to play competitively at the High School level and perhaps also play baseball at the collegiate level.

The coaching staff of The Bennington Area Reds is dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of the game of baseball so that players rising through our system will ultimately be capable of playing High School Baseball and possibly reaching their ultimate goals.

Our mission:
To instill a love and passion for the game of baseball within each of our players so that their efforts will earn for them a skill level and knowledge of the game unsurpassed by any other program. We believe that athletes must be students first as well as good citizens and members of their communities. To accomplish this we require our players to adhere to a demanding schedule during their primary season all the while maintaining grades, attendance and conduct in school and at home.

We remain true to our goals, which are:
1. is always to make each player better by the end of the season than they were when they started.
2. is to play the game with passion and excellence.
3. is to play as a team and foster camaraderie and
4. is to win games.

The Bennington Area Reds Baseball Club is not for everyone; our schedules and level of commitment are demanding to say the least. But for those who commit to the program and work hard, the rewards can be great.

If you're not having fun in baseball, you miss the point of everything.
